Temicka
Practice Manager
Temicka Batts is a dedicated and accomplished Practice Manager at Advanced Cosmetic & General Dentistry. She began working at the practice in November 2022, bringing with her over 23 years of experience in the dental industry. She received her education from the College of Southern Maryland and has since then taken continuing education courses, as well as becoming a licensed Realtor in Maryland and a Notary Public. Temicka is also certified in leadership development with the Bell Leadership Institute.
Temicka’s passion for dentistry began back in 2000 when she was undergoing orthodontic treatment and was offered a front desk position by her doctor. Since then, she has worked with various DSOs and private practices, where she gets to work with people from different backgrounds and learn about their unique experiences and cultures. Her favorite part of the job is seeing patients smile after completing their dental treatment, knowing that it gives them a boost in confidence.
In addition to her work at the dental practice, Temicka enjoys spending time with her family, including her two daughters Ajah and Kennedi, and her hairless cat named Hector. Having previously owned a bakery, she loves to bake delicious treats and try out new restaurants. Temicka is also an avid traveler, and she hopes to one day return to her favorite place in the world, Jamaica.
Temicka is involved in her community as a member of the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation and participates in their annual Walk for a Cure. She is also a member of the Piscataway Conoy Tribe of Native Americans located in Brandywine, Maryland.
With her extensive experience, dedication, and commitment to helping others, Temicka is a valuable asset to not only our team but also her community. She hopes to continue making a positive impact on the lives of patients and colleagues alike.
