Dr. Amelia Baker

Dr. Baker discovered her love for dentistry during her junior year of high school when she interned with her pediatric dentist. This formative experience set her on a trajectory towards her dream profession. Demonstrating dedication and academic excellence, she earned her Doctor of Dental Medicine degree Cum Laude from Boston University’s Henry M. Goldman School of Dental Medicine.
Her devotion to her patients goes beyond her academic achievements and hands-on experience. Dr. Baker is an active participant in several renowned dental associations, including the Greater Washington Area of Women Dentists, the American Dental Association, the D.C. Dental Society, and the American Association of Women Dentists.
Central to Dr. Baker’s practice is her genuine care for her patients. She revels in the opportunity to alleviate dental anxieties and takes great pride in delivering both functional and aesthetic treatments that result in patient delight. Her satisfaction derives from her patients’ comfort and contentment.
Outside of her professional commitments, Dr. Baker is an avid traveler, exploring new destinations annually with her husband and frequently visiting her hometown, Atlanta, to be with family. Her adventurous spirit shines through in her love for exploring new dining spots, attending concerts, and supporting sports events in D.C.
When she isn’t in the dental chair or traveling, Dr. Baker is a yoga enthusiast, an avid reader averaging a book a week, a passionate artist, and a dedicated adventurer, often accompanied by her cherished dog and husband.
