Covid-19 Safety

From Day 1, our commitment to your safety and health has been our top priority. We have always followed infection control recommendations made by the American Dental Association (ADA), the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) so that you feel as safe and comfortable as possible. For your and our staff’s protection, we have taken the necessary extra measures out of an abundance of caution to ensure everyone’s safety while you receive care.

You may notice the following changes the next time you visit our office:

  • All patients entering the office will be required to wear a face mask
  • All patients entering the office will be required to sanitize their hands once they enter the office
  • All patients entering the office will have their temperature taken
  • All patients will have to fill out a pre-screening questionnaire which can be emailed to them and filled out online
  • For patients who choose to do their paperwork in the office we have sanitized clipboards and pens available for you
  • All patients will be asked to rinse with a 3% hydrogen peroxide solution for 30 seconds prior to starting treatment
  • All dental operatories will be de-fogged with a pure & clean solution after each patient ( see link below for pure and clean MSDS sheet)
  • Austin Air HealthMate Air Purifiers with a 5 stage purification system located through out the office to purify and circulate clean air ( see below for more info)
  • The number of seats available in the lobby are reduced to allow for proper social distancing
  • Only patients with appointments are allowed into the lobby and no companions allowed unless for a minor patient or a patient with disability that needs assistance
  • We have added 20 minute blocks in between patients to allow for reduced traffic of patients in office
  • All coffee /tea station & magazines have been removed from lobby
  • All staffs temperature are taken daily upon entering and a screening form is done for every staff member prior to entering office and any staff with any symptoms is sent home immediately
  • We have created two check in/check out areas that are 10 feet apart and both areas are protected by a glass shield between you and our staff member
  • All of our staff members are wearing masks and all clinical staff members are wearing kn95 masks covered with a surgical mask, surgical gowns surgical caps and face shields and gloves for maximum protection
  • We continue to follow universal sterilization guidelines required by CDC and OSHA and ADA
