Stephen Barsky, DDS
Meet General and Cosmetic Dentist Dr. Barsky
Dr. Stephen Barsky has been in practice for nearly thirty years. He did his undergraduate work at the University of Sciences in Philadelphia, formerly know as the Philadelphia College of Pharmacy and Sciences. He received his B.Sc. degree in Pharmacy. Dr. Barsky practiced Community Pharmacy and Hospital Pharmacy in Northern Virginia for four years. He then attended Stockholm University for Swedish language studies. He graduated the Karoline Institute (Karolinska Institute) with his Dental degree in 1978. He was assistant professor of clinical operative dentistry and an instructor in oral surgery. Dr. Barsky maintained a private practice for five years in Stockholm before returning to the United States.
Dr. Barsky is a member of the American Dental Society, The Washington DC Dental Society and has been or is a member of numerous international dental organizations including many implant associations. He was one of the first Dentists in the area to place and restore implants. Although he does not at this time perform implant surgery he is an expert at restoring implants.
Dr. Barsky has been married for twenty-eight years to his wife, Katrin and they have two children, Brittany 24 pold and Alexander 20 years old. Brittany graduated The University of Delaware where she majored in Marketing and received a tennis/scholastic scholarship. Alexander is completing his freshman year at Salisbury University.
Dr. Barsky enjoys, Golf, tennis, skiing, fencing and spinning "Anything outdoors is a plus for me."
